Hi, I'm Pushpender Yadav.

I'm a software engineer who enjoys understanding how things work. Whether it's software, hardware, or something in between, I love exploring how it's built, experimenting with it, and finding ways to make it better.

About Me

I'm a software engineer by profession and a tinkerer by curiosity. By day, I build backend systems with Java, but outside work I'm usually experimenting with new technologies, building side projects, or automating everyday tasks.

I like taking things apart, understanding how they're built, and making them better. That curiosity has led me to build Android and Wear OS apps, create Home Assistant integrations, improve open-source projects, develop Tasker automations, and occasionally reverse engineer APIs when there's no better way.

Ultimately, I'm passionate about local-first automation, open-source software, and building tools that simplify everyday life while respecting user privacy.

This site is where I document the things I build, the things I learn, and the occasional rabbit hole that started with a simple question: "How does this work?"

Things I Build

  • Android & Wear OS apps
  • Home Assistant integrations
  • Automation tools
  • Open-source projects
  • Privacy-focused utilities
  • DIY hardware modifications

Beyond Code

  • Learning new technologies
  • Travelling
  • Reading about tech
  • Coffee
  • Sharing what I learn

Why This Website Exists

Too many weekend projects vanish into a folder of forgotten scripts once they're "finished." I created this site to document the process, not just the final outcome.

Let's Connect
